How can Hypnosis help me?

Hypnosis is an effective modality to support your unfolding and expansion. It helps eliminate and/or re-create specific behavior patterns for example: when implementing a healthy weight (weight loss), quitting smoking and stopping procrastination, managing stress and anxiety, projecting confidence, overcoming creative blockages, improving learning and study habits, and refining athletic and artistic performances among others.
These changes will change your life by affecting your perception of the world and your relationships with yourself and others. As a result of this expanded awareness, You are more in charge of your unconscious impulses.. Importantly, changes vary depending on your own efforts and commitment.

What will I experience during hypnosis?

People have widely reported experiencing a deep feeling of relaxation, being engulfed by warmth and comfort, sleepiness, skin warmth and tingling sensations.
Some have even experienced feeling being detached from their surroundings and return with a brand new perspective for life. Others have had out of body experiences or felt more connected to themselves self and their surroundings.
Experiences vary from person to person and session to session. Your own experience will be as unique to you as you are to humanity.

What are the limitations of hypnosis?

Hypnosis is an effective healing modality with unlimited potential. However, a hypnotherapist is not the appropriate professional to assist a person who is dealing with deep depression, and severe mental disorders. Additionally, a hypnotherapist is not the appropriate choice to assist someone who is suffering from debilitating physical and medical issues. In these cases, it is better to consult your physician and/or your psychologist.

Can I get stuck in a trance?

No, you cannot get stuck in a trance during a session. You can move out of it in the same that you move between states during the day. For example, you suddenly catch yourself day dreaming. You leave the day dreaming state by either moving a part of your body or simply by shifting your attention to something else. You can however, get stuck in a trance of limitation which you have created for yourself.

Will I reveal things that are embarrassing to me when I am in trance? Can you make me bark like a dog?

You always have the choice, ability and power to enter and leave a trance state. In fact, you have done so your whole life for example, when you have entered a deep sleep state, woken up in the middle of a dream and moved seamlessly into the waking state.
No hypnotists/hypnotherapists can make you do anything that violates your values, belief system, accepted patterns of behavior and ethics. I pride myself in an environment that supports your growth during every session. Should you happen to share an event that you judge as “embarrassing” it is because you were ready to bring this to the foreground for your own best interest. Your sharing will be seen and heard with compassion and be framed as a tool for your growth.
About the barking: – my only interest is to use hypnosis to build you up. An ethical hypnotherapist’s responsibility is to potentiate the qualities that already exist within you by reminding you of that fact. This is what it means to “en-power” you.

How many sessions will I need before I see any results?

The general recommendation is a minimum of 3 sessions. Keep in mind that just as all people do not react exactly in the same way or gain the same results from a medical prescription/therapy, all people will not experience the same results from hypnotherapy. A client I met at a shoe store let go of her phobia within a 20 minute casual hypnotic conversation while at a shoe store. It is possible for an individual to overcome a challenge in a relatively short period of time. Another person who is dealing with the same challenge may require more time. Time required is a byproduct of your personal experiences and is as unique as your fingerprint

How long is a session? How much do you charge?

Each session can last anywhere from 60 to 75 minutes. All sessions are over the phone.
